For two days you will be submerged in the language of willow. We will make a round stake and strand kindling/log/storage basket with inset handles out of cultivated willow grown in Nova Scotia. You will learn how to grow and prepare the materials and then have hands on practice in how to pair and to wale, to rand and to rap and finally border down, all techniques specific to weaving with this amazing material.
This is a great basket for improvers or a keen beginner.
