You will get a feel for working in willow and make these conical woven structures using a pairing technique and finishing off with a Japanese knot. Sweet peas, runner beans and other climbing annuals are well suited to the Obelisk. All tools and materials are provided. Great for beginners!

As part of this one day workshops, you will be provided with tea/coffee and a snack but you will be required to bring a lunch. Also important to dress in ‘work’ clothes as working with willow can be rough on clothing. We will be working in an unheated space so dress accordingly for that as well.
