This two day workshop will cover all the basics of making a stake and strand round basket out of willow. Designed for the novice maker the language of willow will be revealed from growing and harvesting willow, tools, material preparation, methods of weaving from bases to borders and finally putting that first item in the basket you have just made by hand. This flared basket will display fruit or bread beautifully.

Class starts at 10:00 each morning and finishes at 4:00

Coffee/tea and snack will be provided. Participants are expected to bring a packed lunch. Registration is limited to 8 people.
