In this two day workshop we will make a round shopping basket with a wrapped bow handle and if time allows a ‘replaceable’ foot. Starting with a round base using reverse pairing we will upset with a 3 rod wale, then a double rand for the sides and another 3 rod wale before bordering down. A handle and foot will be added making it a very sturdy and long lasting, working basket. This project is suitable for improvers and the handy beginner. Using Nova Scotian home grown materials we will learn the language of willow. All tools and materials supplied.

Coffee/tea and snack will be provided. Participants are expected to bring a packed lunch. Registration is limited to 8 people.
